Hike #170... BMOM

About two-thirds of the way down Allagash trail,
Mount Blue in Weld pops into view. It's a favorite spot.

The fall leaves have disappeared from the tops of local mountains, but there's still color in the lower sections. Yesterday, bright sunshine brought Black Mountain to life. Certain angles revealed stunning mid-fall colors--other views looked stark, like mid-November.

To beat our 2020 hiking record of 209 mountains, we've got 40 hikes left to do in November and December. We may have to do some back-to-back hikes to make this happen. Those won't be long!
