It wasn't the longest hike we've taken this year, but we accomplished it in 8" of unpacked snow up on Black Mountain. Bailey hoofed around without much effort and in one instance, came sprinting to my side probably thinking I had a treat (below). At night, he limped a bit, but he seems OK. Maybe like his old man, he has arthritis.
