Occasionally, based on my Amazon book purchases, I receive an email suggesting that I "might like" to purchase one of my own books. I know this email is generated by an algorithm, but I still get a chuckle out of the message.
You're right, it doesn't take much to entertain me.
And just so you know, eBay has used copies in good order for $5 - $8... Even with an author's discount of 40%, I'd be paying $22. I buy eBay. So do many students.
And finally, if you're not careful, you can pay waaaaaaaay more that you should for a copy of my writing book. And they even charge shipping!
