Todd McKinley has been teaching English at the middle level for 25 years. At year 20, he joined the Maine Writing Project, a site of the National Writing Project (NWP) and got hooked into the doctoral program at UMaine. His dissertation focuses on the impact networks like the NWP have on teachers. It'll be an interesting study. Good for Todd.
