I've started an article about Sam Morse, a ski athlete at Carrabassett Valley Academy in Kingfield. Sam's English teacher, Mary Poulin, called my attention to Sam and his writing. A prolific journaler, Sam has been writing about his skiing since the age of 7. I've enjoyed two interviews with the 16-year-old downhill ski racer and have spent hours examining his journals. Now, it's time to write....
