Just when I think hiking is ending for Bailey, he surprises me. We hiked Whitecap Mountain for the 700th time (or there about). I figured we'd make it to the 1.5-mile mark. But, surprise-surprise, "Chester" (Matt Dillon's stiff legged partner on Gun Smoke) trekked the full 4.5 miles. He's not in pain, because he has no problem crying if something is a problem. He even ventured off trail twice into the deep snow seeking out an enticing smell. So, there we go... he's still hiking. Me, too.
